This project is focused on virtual conversations with a diverse range of experts, academics and knowledge holders to amplify and share insights and experiences within Indigenous Knowledge Systems.

We are engaging with Parks Canada on a proposed Indigenous Stewardship framework that could support diverse objectives and priorities of Indigenous peoples in protected heritage places the Agency operates.

We have partnered with Parks Canada to create best practices for weaving Indigenous use of fire with existing fire management practices at Parks Canada places.
