Allison Bishop is the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership Manager. She has a background in Indigenous Studies, Education and Dispute Resolution. Allison comes to the partnership after holding project management and advisory positions with the Center of Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion at York University and the Ontario Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.

Dr. Robin Roth is a human-environment geographer with expertise in the political, social and cultural dimensions of conservation governance based at the University of Guelph’s Geography, Environment and Geomatics Department. She is the coordinator of the Master’s of Conservation Leadership at the University of Guelph and Associate Editor of the journal Biological Conservation. Read more…

Kristy Tomkinson, Communications and Knowledge Mobilization Specialist

Kristy Tomkinson is the Conservation Through Reconciliation Partnership Communications and Knowledge Mobilization Specialist. She studied International Development, then Capacity Development and Rural Extension at the University of Guelph. Her master’s thesis explored the outcomes of a First Nations youth training and employment initiative hosted by the Kuhkenah Network in Northern Ontario. She comes to the Partnership after holding communications management and program development positions with the Aga Khan Foundation Canada International Development Fellowship, Youth Challenge International, and the Mastercard Foundation.
