Kristin Clark

Kristin Clark is a member of the National Boreal Caribou Knowledge Consortium (NBCKC) Secretariat, and co-leads its sister group, the Indigenous Knowledge Circle (IKC). The IKC is composed of 50+ First Nations, Inuit, and Metis members who advocate for the respectful use of Indigenous Knowledge and the transition towards Indigenous-led management to support the recovery of caribou. Since many caribou conservation projects involve braiding and bridging Indigenous and non-Indigenous knowledge systems, the IKC is developing tools to help individuals and organizations do this effectively.
