Indigenous Stewardship in Eeyou Istchee

This project addresses the question of how Indigenous stewardship of territory is understood and practiced today by Crees of Eeyou Istchee, with particular attention to how protected area creation can enhance Cree responsibilities to protect their lands and waters.
