Rachel Plotkin
Rachel Plotkin is in her 15th year at the David Suzuki Foundation; prior to that, she worked for six years at the Sierra Club of Canada. Her highly collaborative work has focused on maintaining and restoring habitat for wildlife and supporting Indigenous-led land governance. Rachel holds a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University and a degree in Outdoor and Experiential Education from Queen’s University. Prior to her work as an environmentalist, Rachel taught outdoor education. Her favourite animal is the badger, although she has never seen one.
