Ethical Space Resources

This project, led by Danika Littlechild, will provide guidance for Pathway to Canada Target 1 members, in particular Provincial, Territorial, Federal and Municipal officials, to help apply and operationalize Ethical Space in conservation initiatives and, in particular, Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs).

An academic paper arguing that the recognition of multiple ways of knowing, especially Indigenous knowledge systems, is critical to support the transformative change needed to conserve biodiversity at a national scale.
