IPCA Development Fund

The IPCA Development Fund is the first donor advised fund dedicated to fundraising and financially supporting the establishment of Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) across Canada. The fund is housed at the MakeWay Canada “Foundation” as a Community and Donor Advised Fund, which provides operational supports, governance, and charitable expertise for changemakers. Originally conceived by the IISAAK OLAM Foundation as the Deep Green Economy Fund with support from Patagonia, interested donors can now make a charitable contribution to IPCAs.
