Paulette Fox

Natowaawawahkaki - Holy Walking Woman is a member of the Blackfoot Confederacy from the Blood Tribe / Kainai Nation. Ms. Fox has taken on a Spiritual Leadership role at a very young age so "elder" is not a reference to age but to Transferred Knowledge of her People the Apaítsitapii. She is a Society Grandmother and Water Bundle Wisdom Keeper and founding member of the Iinnii Initiative - Buffalo Treaty working to reconnect Landscapes, Languages and Lifeways. Holy Walking Woman is a founding member of the CRP Elder’s Lodge and is a PhD Candidate at the University of Guelph.
